My Journey

In high school, I have taken on various leadership roles, serving as President of the Institute of Biotechnology, Pre-Collegiate Club, and Black Student Union. These positions have allowed me to foster a strong sense of community among my peers and advocate for educational opportunities. Additionally, I have been an active participant in community initiatives, such as the One Mill campaign, where I served as the student speaker to support funding for Career Technical Education programs. Driven by curiosity about the human brain, I aspire to become a neurosurgeon, refining my skills through impactful research and hands-on internships.

I have gained valuable skills in neuro-oncology and genetic engineering through internships, enhancing my passion for biomedical sciences and my goal of becoming a neurosurgeon.
